Vanessa was born and raised in Brooklyn and has spent much of her career providing trauma-informed and solution-based support to diverse populations. She is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of Social Work with a focus on Advanced Generalist Practice & Programming. Currently, Vanessa works as a Clinical Supervisor for NYC Well and other local and national crisis hotlines. Vanessa has experience providing crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, facilitating support groups, providing vocational and clinical support, conducting intakes, and devising treatment and discharge plans. In her spare time, Vanessa enjoys traveling, dancing and eating out.
