My name is Sujeiry Pena and I am a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a background in Family Health. I have Twelve years of experience treating families and hold a master’s degree from Lehman College. My work is centered on caring for clients with extensive trauma histories and I am always looking for new ways to help make a difference leading toward optimal health and goal achievement. I also have a passion for education and hold an Adjunct Faculty Professor position at Lehman College City University of New York. I am the NP Manager of Personnel and Operations under the First Deputy Commissioner for the Administration for Children Services. This role has enabled me to provide hands-on trauma center care for the pediatric population and their families during their most difficult times. Further, in this role I establish leadership guidelines for my interdisciplinary team and incorporate holistic care plan approaches to manage our clients and families.
