She provides psychoeducation to help her clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves to better navigate their difficulties and the world around them.
After a decade of honorable service in the United States Army, Daphnée embarked on a new path, returning to New York to complete her education. Her postgraduate journey at Columbia University, where she earned a Master’s degree in social work, was a testament to her resilience and determination. Growing up, Daphnée was surrounded by mentors and people she looked up to. These mentors played an essential role in her life. They inspired her to dedicate her adult life to changing the trajectory of the lives of others.
Daphnée has over 10 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and families in many capacities. Daphnée utilizes a combination of different therapy approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and Narrative Therapy, to help clients deal with symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other serious mental health diagnoses. Daphnée takes a goal-oriented approach to assisting clients to fulfill their purpose-driven lives. Her compassionate approach and authenticity facilitate an effortless rapport and a trusting therapeutic alliance.
Daphnée is fluent in English and Haitian Creole. She is happiest when taking care of her garden and many house plants. When not gardening, she enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.
